Johnson’s Garden and Cafe

General information

Formerly known as "The Plant Lady Nursery", we have changed our name to "Johnsons" to encompass every part of our family owned business. Teresa, Darrell and their daughter Ashley have worked to create a truly unique retail experience for the community and have recently expanded and built a farmhouse gift shop and cafe within the 4 acre garden center.

We are located in Duncanville Al, which is on the outskirts of Tuscaloosa. Our garden center includes a tropical foliage house, outdoor accessories warehouse, gift retail shop, dessert and coffee cafe, landscape design offices, and growing greenhouses. We also offer landscape design and monthly maintenance programs.

We are open all year, with seasonal extended hours. We always have a master gardener on staff to offer knowledgeable advise, and to help diagnose any problems. We welcome all children with popscicles and encourage everyone to come sit with the fairies in our gardens.
