Gansett Cruises breaks away from the typical harbor tour to offer a comfortable, relaxing and delightful full hour and a half cruise of Newport Harbor and the East Passage of Narragansett Bay. Our guides, many of whom grew up on these waters, are enthused to share the legends and rich history of their home port, the Sailing Capital of the World.

ABOARD A CLASSIC
It's just the feeling you get from being on a well-appointed private yacht that makes the Gansett so special. Built in 1969 in Maine as a working lobster boat that unloaded its catch right where its now docked in Newport. The open deck plan, comfortably cushioned seating, broad shaded canopy and topside sun deck create the most pleasant cruising experience in Newport. Modern amenities aboard.

On every cruise, there's something from the galley that is representative of Rhode Island cuisine and culture. The crew serves Del's Lemonade, Coffee Cabinets, Yacht Club Sodas, RI State Clam Quahog "Stuffies" and more! Guests on board discover the true flavor of The Ocean State, compliments of the Captain. Gansett's cash bar serves a selection of Narragansett beer and an assortment of red and white wines.
