Story Behind Tip Tough
Invented by a 13 year old whose father is a
chef. His father would home from work with
deep cuts that sometimes required medical
attention. RJ realized that if he could come up
with an invention that could protect his
father’s fingers he could save the restaurant
time from lost work, money from lost product,
and the cost of worker compensation.
After developing the Tip Tough so many
more uses became clear: the home cook,
children could learn to cook without cutting
themselves, the elderly and handicapped
could work in the kitchen independently, and
in industry for any type of finger protection
needs.
