General information
We are three(ish) woodworkers who design and make one of a kind custom fine furniture as well as host woodworking courses in our shop in Schwenksville, PA!
Our Practical Woodworking course takes students through the furniture making process from rough cut boards to finished piece. We keep an emphasis on safe techniques, machinery, and proper hand tool usage. Beginner, intermediate, and advanced woodworkers are welcome!
The course is taught by Jeff Lohr, Robert Spiece, Eoin O'Neill, and Larissa Huff. Jeff has been a furniture maker and teacher for nearly 40 years. Rob began an apprenticeship with Jeff in 2006 and now has his own career as a studio furniture maker. Eoin came to us by way of the British Isles in 2007. His focus is on guitar making. Larissa started as an apprentice in 2012 and is also beginning her career as a studio furniture maker.
Each teacher brings their own unique perspectives to bear on the six day course. The small class size allows for a lot of one on one attention.
