CIPA-USA believes that safety is one of the most important factors to consider whether you are on the road, camping, on the water, or on the trails. Poor visibility can have a huge impact on the level of safety associated with any of these activities. In 1986, CIPA realized there was a growing need for supplying vehicle manufacturers and consumers with a way to acquire high quality, safe, and reliable rearview vision options in a rapid and economical manner.
Products provided by CIPA originate from a variety of methods. Many products are designed at CIPA's headquarters located in Port Huron, Michigan. CIPA has the capacity to tool and manufacture products from concept to completion in the Aftermarket and Original Equipment divisions of the company. Resources also exist both domestically and offshore to aid CIPA in such processes to ensure high quality products at competitive pricing. Some products are produced at other facilities by manufacturers other than CIPA. In these cases CIPA offers solutions such as warehousing and the distribution of products. Distribution methods can range from shipping products directly to consumers, to effectively funneling products through distribution channels and pipelines. CIPA-USA is dedicated to the continuing development, manufacture and delivery of new products to maintain, enhance, and increase its market dominance in the "safety through visibility" segment now and in the foreseeable future.
Since its establishment, CIPA-USA has gained a reputation as a globally recognized leader in the design and manufacture of rearview mirrors for all facets of the automotive, marine and recreational vehicle market. CIPA-USA manufactures a broad range of side view and interior mirrors including Original Equipment, OE-Style replacement, towing, aftermarket replacement, marine, ATV/UTV, and PWC mirrors, as well as a variety of accessories. CIPA-USA also enjoys its recently acquired position as the exclusive North American distributor of the EVO Formance line of Automotive Lighting and Lighting Accessories. EVO Formance provides a comprehensive product line of aftermarket replacement lighting for most automotive applications, as well as a wide variety of innovative lighting accessories for customizing virtually any vehicle. This acquisition has broadened CIPA's focus from just providing safety through rearview vision to providing safety through vision. CIPA-USA sells most products to distributors within the Automotive, Recreational and Marine Markets - not the general public.
