TargetX has established itself as an innovative force in the realm of higher education, providing a campuswide CRM solution to help colleges build and maintain lifelong communications with their most important constituencies- prospective students, current students, alumni and potential donors.

TargetX has been disrupting higher education for over a decade, educating the industry and pushing schools to "Overthrow Dead Culture" and embrace new and better ways of operating.

Beginning in 1998, TargetX introduced email marketing to college admissions offices. Soon after we added online chat, social networking and event management to our suite of web-based apps. And later we pioneered the concept of the campus visit "experience" with the addition of our consulting division.

Ultimately, our goal was to help schools stop moving data around from so many different systems. So in 2007, when Salesforce opened up their popular Force.com platform to outside developers, we had a bit of an "a-ha" moment.

As industry experts (and delighted Salesforce customers ourselves), we knew we finally had the platform that would allow us to build the tools we always wished we had. The timing was right to deliver on our longtime vision to provide the benefits of CRM to offices across campus. And, naturally, we decided to begin with recruitment.

Today, TargetX has grown to offer proven CRM solutions for recruitment, retention and advancement along with our signature consulting and professional services.
