General information

Emporium Health and Fitness has been operating on Tyburn road for over 20 years, in this time we have gained a strong following from general fitness enthusiast, bodybuilders, elite athletes and weight conscious males and females creating the emporium family.

Over the years our membership base has grown leading us to make the decision to re-invest in the emporium brand and create Total Fitness Emporium offering you a modern, clean, spacious fully air conditioned environment providing the latest trends and equipment on offer in the fitness industry backed up by fully qualified and experienced friendly staff on hand to welcome you into the emporium family.

Total Fitness Ltd / Emporium Gym is owned by myself Warren Dyson owner of 1 other Fitness Centre with over 20 years’ experience in the fitness industry. With the time and investment spent I feel the facility we have created is second to none creating an ever evolving fitness facility spread out over 2 floors supported by a modern high spec 36 camera CCTV system, working in conjunction with a fingerprint recognition system covered by a state of the art music/entertainment system via flat screens with satellite TV.

Secure car parking is provided for gym users at the front and side of the gym alongside a gated secure overspill car park situated on the garage forecourt all free of charge.

Nitial entry point to the gym which includes a supplement shop stocking all leading brands in sports nutrition, training accessories and clothing from Scitec, Reflex, Kinetica, Usn, Bodytronics, Ronnie Coleman plus many more.

Take advantage of our spacious seating area whilst enjoying refreshments from our refreshments bar offering you protein shakes; Pre / Post workout drinks bars and snacks.

CARDIO AREA:
Spacious Cardio area containing over 65 pieces of Life Fitness, Cybex and Precor cardio equipment including Treadmills, Cross Trainers, Steppers, Recumblant Bikes, Upright Bikes, Concept 2 Rowers and Stairmasters. This area is supported by numerous Satellite flat screen TVs and a separate music system.

RESISTANCE / PLATE LOADED AREAS:
You will find all our resistance and plate loaded machines are split into separate rooms providing you with top of the range equipment from Life Fitness, Hammer Strength, Hoist, Sterling and Star Strength supported by individual music systems and air conditioning:

Zone 1 Back and Legs

4 Squat Racks
3 Plate Loaded Leg Press
3 Plate Loaded Hack Squats
10 Resistance and Plate Loaded Leg Stations containing Leg Curls, Leg Extensions, Calf Machines.
15 Resistance and Plate Loaded Back Stations including numerous Pull downs, Close Grip pull downs, High and Low Rows, Seated rows, T bar rows.
Zone 2 Chest and Shoulders

Life Fitness Pulley Station
12 Individual Shoulder Stations including numerous Shoulder Press, Lateral Raises, Rear delts and Plate loaded Press machines
12 Individual Chest Stations including numerous Seated, Incline, decline plate loaded presses, pec-decs and flyes.
2 Smith Machines
Each area has been specifically designed to give you everything you need to meet your goals whether you are inexperienced, intermediary or an advanced athlete.

DUMBELL FREE WEIGHTS ZONE
In this zone you will find Dumbells, Barbells, Flat Benches, Decline Benches, Preacher Curl Stations, Plate loaded straight bars, E-Z bars and various Bicep and Triceps resistance machines all supported by flat screen TV’s, music systems and air conditioning.

9 adjustable barbell bench stations to perform incline, decline or flat bench exercises.
10 adjustable benches to work with dumbells
Ivanko Rubber dumbells ranging from 2kg to 54kg
Startrac Rubber dumbells ranging from 100lb to 150lb
Cast Iron dumbells ranging from 5kg to 90kg

BOXING ZONE:

Our Boxing Zone is designed to give you everything and more you will find in a traditional boxing club containing a fully clothed and roped 14ft boxing ring, speed balls, wall to ceiling balls, 14 fully leather ringside punch bags including hook bags, upper cut bags, Heavy Bags and traditional bags supported by a fully matted groundwork / grappling and circuit training area.

CROSSFIT / CARDIO ZONE:
Designed to introduced you to cross fit training whether you are a beginner or an elite athlete you will find everything you need to enable you to use cross fit using traditional circuit exercises, plyometrics and body weight exercises to meet your goals. Our designated area contains: battling ropes, climbing ropes, chin and dip stations, monkey bars, climbing nets, spin bikes, Olympic Lifting Stations, resistance bands, Guntrax Training Systems, medicine balls, core bags, power bags, Versa Climbers, Treadmills, Free motion equipment, Prowler, Sledge, Tyres, Kettlebells, Lifting Chains, TRX systems.
