Taste of the Strand has launched its new tour service ‘Tapas on the Strand’ in Galveston, Texas. The tapas tour is geared to adult beverage connoisseurs that are also foodies.

The newly launched tour pairs food and bar hopping through Galveston’s Downtown Strand District. Guests will get to sample new local tapas selections matched with adult beverages, experiencing the Southern Texas Gulf Coast way of life.

Each designated stop has a signature or specialty drink paired with a gastronomical treat. For a complete cultural experience to match the exquisite culinary, each specially picked stop will include mixology and information on the cultural background of each establishment.

All tours are led by knowledgeable guides who are well-versed in the best places to eat in Galveston. The tour provides the perfect night out for visitors to Galveston.

Guests can sit back and relax without having to worry about crowds, reservation juggling, searching the internet, or sifting through restaurant reviews. The two-hour+ culinary tour is available for both group and private bookings.

The tours open for advanced booking on May 20, with the first tour available on June 4. As tours with Taste of the Strand often sell out, advanced booking is recommended. Tours run from Thursday to Sunday.

The cost of the tour is $99.98. Discounts are available for seniors, veterans, firefighters, EMS, teachers, and law enforcement officers. The tour is strictly for those 21 and older and all participants must have valid identification with them.
