The Department of Public Works strives to construct, maintain, operate and design public infrastructure in an efficient and effective manner. The Department of Public Works is comprised of five divisions; Highway, Water & Sewer, Building Maintenance and Waste Collection. Each division main objective is to protect the public safety as well as enhance the quality of life for people who live in the Town of East Longmeadow. The DPW continues to work at accomplishing these goals and approach, leaving no roads, buildings or opportunities for improvement left behind.
