A local history museum, nestled in a residential neighborhood, in the Independence National Historic District, just 2 blocks from Riverview Park Amphitheater, tour bus parking is available at the park near the river. Independence is on a Cycle Oregon scenic route, a Paddle Oregon river route, the Willamette Bird Watching area, Ankeny Wildlife refuge and a short drive to the Chatoe Rogue Hop Farm.
