After 20 years of working in the field and running some of the largest flooring projects in Hawaii, Ricky Miyamoto and Jason Shizuru decided to start their own flooring business which emphasized quality, service, and family. In 2002 they started In Line Flooring and ran it out of small two bedroom house in Palolo Valley.

After servicing the residential market for a couple years, they landed a big hotel project, which moved them from Palolo to a warehouse in Halawa. And that is when Patrick Cortez, Ko Kelii, Deryck Archer, and Kapua Keolanui joined the In Line ‘Ohana (and they are still a big part of the company today). In fact, many of us have been a part of In Line Flooring for over 10 years!

In 2013 Jason passed away from cancer, but the vision of In Line Flooring continued, which is to be the best company to work for and to work with. We believe the reason for our success comes from the favor of the Lord and the many good people He surrounds us with. We are now located in a warehouse in Kalihi, have over 20 employees, and are one of the few companies that can handle all your flooring needs from tile and stone, carpet, vinyl planks, wood flooring, sheet vinyl, and VCT.
