For over 50 years, AVO has been helping organizations, just like yours, create safe and reliable electrical systems. Our mission is simple: to save lives by eliminating electrical hazards in the working environment and empowering employees to do their work safely and effectively.

Our accredited training certifications teach electrical maintenance, testing, power studies and safety skills. With courses lasting no more than five days, we specialize in fast, effective electrical skills training. As part of each hands-on course, students perform tasks in equipment labs supervised by the most talented electrical instructors in the industry. Courses are available at our 5 training locations listed below and we will also come to your facility for onsite training.

Our knowledge of electrical safety regulations and experience with practical application, enables us to create a consistent and compliant electrical safety environment in any workplace. We assess facilities for compliance with OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E, NESC, MSHA and develop custom electrical safety programs and procedures for industrial, commercial, utility and government installations.

Our registered engineering division (Texas #F-006122) analyzes power systems to identify conditions that create instability and hazardous workspaces. Every arc flash risk assessment, protective device coordination, short circuit and load flow study we perform is sealed by our Professional Engineers, who are collectively registered across the U.S. and Canada. We work diligently to ensure the accuracy of our results and pride ourselves on providing realistic, non-commercial recommendations.

While we work with organizations in a wide variety of industries worldwide, our team of over 50 talented individuals is headquartered in Dallas, Texas. AVO is part of the privately owned family of Megger® companies. AVO’s corporate offices are co-located with one of the manufacturing facilities for Megger® and States® Products.
