Lou Vavaroutsos grew up 'down under', but his ideas about how a dealership should be run go above and beyond, when it comes to catering to customers. He came to Canada from Australia with his family at age 19 and started his career in car sales. By the age of 21, he was a Grand Master. In February 1984 he purchased Old Mill GM in Toronto and in 1989 he bought Eastside GM in Markham. These integrated dealerships have received numerous accolades over the years, including General Motor's Triple Crown award, largely due to his company's commitment to customer service. Lou is known around town as the man with a big heart and is a valued community leader, for over 30 years.
